Bible Reading Plans: There is a selection of reading plans in the narthex, on the side counter, to promote reading the Bible during this Lenten season.

Men’s Breakfast: Wednesday March 26, at 7:00 AM. Please RSVP to ctklc407@gmail.com.

Mite Offerings: Received through Lent. These mites support mission efforts and ministries throughout the world. They have funded over 100 million dollars in mission grants since the organization’s inception in 1942. Any amounts small or large are gratefully used to spread the Lord’s word. There is a box in the narthex for offerings.

LWML Will Be Collecting For Toiletry Kits to Send to Ronald McDonald House: Items needed are travel size, soap, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste and toothbrushes. Please place items in the Bride’s Room. Thank you for participating in this endeavor.

Preschool is Collecting No Show Socks For Men, Women, and Children: in WHITE and BLACK, new in the packages. These socks will benefit the homeless in our community through the Orlando Union Rescue Mission. Their yearly foot washing event will be April 18, and each participant will receive a new pair of socks and new pair of shoes. The box will be in the narthex for the month of March.

Seniors First: As part of Social Ministry at Christ The King, we are seeking volunteers to help with Senior First programs. These programs have a profound impact on the lives of our senior community members. Some of the services Seniors First provides and needs assistance with are The Meal on Wheels program, Project Connect, Office Administration, Food Pantry, The Neighborhood Lunch program and much more. If you are interested in helping out with any of these volunteer opportunities, please contact Cheryl Branciforte at 407-334-4382 or to learn more, go online at www.seniorsfirstinc.org.

SAVE THE DATE FOR VBS 2025: June 16 – 20 from 9:00 AM – 11:30 AM.

Clothing Donation Drop Off Box: Is located indefinitely in our parking lot. Please feel free to donate any used clothing, shoes, sneakers, belts, purses, linens, pillowcases, blankets, curtains and stuffed animals. Please place them in plastic trash bags and tie the end. Thank you!

Looking for Volunteers to Assist With Fellowship: Cookies/pastries are provided. Coffee is already prepared. Your responsibility would be to plate the provided items, pour the lemonade/water, and clean up. Having more volunteers on hand will lighten the load on other volunteers. See Karen or Wendy if you have any questions. There is a sign-up sheet in Barnabas Hall through December.

A New Ministry: Crocheters and Knitters: CTK would like to present a blanket to a child who is being baptized, which represents God’s embrace on that day. In the future it can become a prayer shawl with just one fold. If you would like to participate in this ministry, please contact Mary Montie for complete details. Once again, we have a Thrivent Action Team grant to fund the yard. Thank you! maryemontie@yahoo.com.

Prayer Shawl Ministry: If you know of someone needing encouragement and a reminder of God’s loving arms around them, prayer shawls and cards are available through the church office. Please contact Karen (office: 407-876-2771). If you would like information on this ministry, please contact Mary Montie at maryemontie@yahoo.com. New volunteers are welcome anytime.

PreSchool Chapel: Wednesdays at 9:30 AM and will continue through the school year. All are welcome to attend.

Ushers Needed: If you would like to participate in the Sunday worship service as an usher, please see Jeff Brinkman, or call Karen at the church office at 407-876-2771.
