Pastor is Asking for Help: In loading their furniture for the move to Missouri on Thursday, June 25th, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Lunch will be provided. Thank you in advance!
LWML: Will not be meeting during the summer months. We are now supporting the Orlando Union Rescue Mission here in downtown Orlando. They are in need of hygiene items for both men and women. There is a list in the Bride’s Room of items they are requesting. This will be an ongoing project throughout the year.
Hooks & Needles Ministry: There are several opportunities available at Christ The King in which to apply creative talents using yarn – such as prayer shawls, baptismal blankets, lap robes, hats, and baby blankets for our preschool families expecting a baby. These items are expressions of God’s loving care for one another. Prayer shawls are located in the Bride’s Room; if you know someone who could use one, please feel free to take one. Altar Care Helpers Needed: Additional team members are needed for Communion set up and clean up during the month of September. If you are interested, please contact Corinne Fennessy at 321-438-9172.
Clothing Donation Drop Off Box: Is located indefinitely in our parking lot. Please feel free to donate any used clothing, shoes, sneakers, belts, purses, linens, pillowcases, blankets, curtains and stuffed animals. Please place them in plastic trash bags and tie the end. Thank you!
